Get to know Us
Laurel Point
Founded in 1965, Laurel Point is a water oriented, sylvan community located in Lancaster County, VA. Surrounded by the Corrotoman River and Brown's Creek, our neighborhood is truly a unique, peaceful setting with residents that appreciate the natural beauty of this hidden gem! We are less than 90 minutes from Williamsburg and Richmond and 2.5 hours from Washington D.C. We are also minutes from the historic town of Kilmarnock, VA which includes numerous amenities, such as shopping, a marina, restaurants, schools and medical services, including a local hospital.
Our Community
Laurel Point has approximately 70 property lots within our subdivision, comprised of around 60 homesites as well as some unimproved lots and community allocated lots. The community has a private boat launch and pier available to our property owners as well as an area for trailers, and trailered boats so they remain away from the street view.
We take great pride in our community, our property owners and our grounds.
The Laurel Point Property Owners Association (LPPOA) membership is comprised of each lot owner within Laurel Point by virtue of their lot ownership. The LPPOA is managed by a group of elected property owners who make up the Board of Directors and volunteer their time to ensure that the covenants, guidelines and community rules are honored and followed. The LPPOA Board also helps to guide the administration of our community amenities, grounds upkeep, hospitality and social services as well as other community priorities.
